FamFi Standard Affiliate Agreement

Standard terms for referral and affiliate partners

This document outlines the default operating terms FamFi uses when reviewing affiliate relationships with approved partners. The executed agreement may include final commercial details, payout schedules, and compliance language specific to the partner.

1. Program purpose

FamFi authorizes approved affiliates to promote FamFi subscriptions to their audiences, customers, or clients using approved messaging, links, and creative assets. In return, FamFi pays an agreed affiliate fee for qualifying subscriptions attributed under the program rules.

2. Eligibility and approval

Affiliates must be approved by FamFi before publishing promotional materials as part of the program. Approval is based on audience fit, brand alignment, regulatory considerations, and the partner's ability to present FamFi accurately and responsibly.

3. Approved promotion methods

  • Editorial or educational content, including blog posts, newsletters, podcast mentions, webinars, workshops, and client recommendations.
  • Advisory and consulting use cases where FamFi is positioned as a value-added resource for families.
  • Approved landing pages, referral links, and creative assets supplied or approved by FamFi.

Affiliates may not use deceptive claims, paid search on restricted brand terms without permission, or promotions that imply FamFi offers financial, legal, tax, or college admissions advice where it does not.

4. Fees and attribution

FamFi pays affiliate fees only on qualifying subscriptions tracked through the agreed attribution method. Qualifying events, payout amounts, attribution windows, exclusions, and minimum payout thresholds are defined in the partner's executed commercial schedule or affiliate onboarding documentation.

5. Payment timing

Approved fees are generally paid after the applicable subscription clears any refund, reversal, fraud-review, or cancellation period. FamFi may withhold or reverse fees tied to invalid transactions, self-referrals, abusive activity, or violations of program rules.

6. Brand and compliance obligations

  • Affiliates must use the FamFi name, logo, and product descriptions accurately and only in approved ways.
  • Affiliates must make any legally required disclosure that compensation may be received for referred subscriptions.
  • Affiliates must not misstate product capabilities, pricing, availability, or expected outcomes.
  • Affiliates remain responsible for complying with advertising, endorsement, privacy, and sector-specific rules that apply to their audience and channel.

7. Intellectual property

FamFi retains all rights in its trademarks, logos, product imagery, copy, and other program materials. Affiliates receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use approved materials solely for promoting FamFi under the program.

8. Confidentiality

Non-public commercial terms, internal performance data, and any unreleased FamFi information shared with an affiliate are confidential and may not be disclosed without written permission.

9. Term and termination

Either party may terminate the affiliate relationship at any time. Upon termination, the affiliate must stop using FamFi promotional materials and remove inactive or non-compliant campaign references. FamFi may reject, adjust, or withhold unpaid fees tied to post-termination activity that does not meet program requirements.

10. Disclaimer

Except as expressly stated in a signed agreement, the program and all materials are provided on an as-is basis. FamFi may update product details, pricing, program structure, or marketing materials at any time.
